Using our unique project management style, you will be able to upgrade or update your kitchen or bathroom in sophisticated style, adding value to your property. Our project teams will draw and sketch designs that are based on your own ideas to achieve the perfect outcome to make your ‘house’ finally feel like your ‘home’.

At Alcrest we customise kitchens to your preferred budget, we offer three options as follows:

  • Standard Kitchens – for clients on a limited budget or rental property clients (includes basic decorative doors, panels and essential functions).
  • Deluxe Kitchens – for an affordable budget customer (providing more stylish finishes and higher quality hardware fittings).
  • Premium Kitchens – for clients with a less restrictive budget who want a top end kitchen (providing a combination of the highest quality fixtures and fittings with an extensive list of optional functional and aesthetic extras).

Designing Phase

Our focus is to design a kitchen, bathroom and laundry the compliments your lifestyle, whilst at the same time servicing your needs. We understand that it is extremely important for your kitchen, bathroom and laundry to not only look aesthetically pleasing but at the same time having high functionality and practical use of space.

As part of the process, we ask you to imagine what your ideal kitchen, bathroom or laundry will be like and we use your vision and work the design up based on design rules. Eg, for a kitchen we look at the spacing for storage, preparation, clean-up zone, traffic flow for saving time and energy.

At Alcrest we endeavour to make what can be a frustrating process, easy and non-stressful working patiently with you to make sure the final design is one you truly love before we enter into the building stage.

Check’s and Confirmation

After our initial contract procedure/design phase? We:

  • Obtain the precise measurements of your project area;
  • Discuss any structural work that may need to be undertaken;
  • Take care of any legalities (if applicable);
  • Discuss and agree on colour schemes;
  • Collect details of appliance selections; and
  • Undertake any minor adjustments/changes to your design, ensuring your project is 100% to your satisfaction.

Production and Ordering

Whilst we are building/assembling your project, we will endeavour to keep you informed of our progress and welcome questions at any stage of the process to keep you updated as to the estimated completion time.

Completion and Inspections

Upon completion of your project, we will talk you through the final product and issue you with any necessary permit certificates or compliance certificates.

Handover

At handover, we offer suggestions on how to maintain your kitchen, bathroom or laundry to ensure it’s longevity and prolong its pristine condition. We leave you with our contact details, so you are able to contact us with any queries or questions you may have.

Materials, Finishes and Colours

At Alcrest our custom made kitchens, vanities and cabinets are finished with the highest quality products as follows:

Benchtops

Laminate; Marble or Granite; Caesarstone; Quartumquartz, YDL Stone; and Timber.

Doors and Decorative surface finishes

  • Melamine (16 or 18mm Flat design with 1mm or 2mm edge);
  • Thermolaminated, Vinyl wrap (18 to 21mm with 4 style group and many profiles;
  • Aluminium framed glass doors;
  • Paint (Two pack spray paint); and
  • Timber.

Cabinet Hardware and Fittings

  • Basic Fittings (Hinge, handles and knobs);
  • Drawers and Runners (Soft closing, Ballbearing, Self-Closing); and
  • Storage Fittings and hardware to maximise space (Pull out pantry, moving corners, sauces pantry, tidy bins, drawers and laundry baskets).

Suppliers and Business Partners

  • Decorative Door Panels (Polytec, Alberdor and Tesol); and
  • Hardware and Fitting (Hettich Blum Glass)
